Kimek is one of the northernmost offshore and industry repair yards in the world, with a unique location near the Barents Sea.
Petroleum-related activities are our biggest clients.
Industrial services
Kimek has long traditions of supplying industrial services to the mining industry in Sør-Varanger.
Main activities today are machining, steel and aluminium constructions as well as general mechanical maintenance and surface treatment.
Electro
Kimek has a specially organized workshop for maintenance and repair of electrical installations and electrical motors. We also have extensive expertise in electrical work on boats, as well as for local industry, construction and housing.
